Description
The Vesuvio Garden Fountain may be a bit small in size but certainly not in appeal. It has an eye-catching design with a touch of contemporary flair. Handcrafted by skilled artisans and designed to last for a very long time.
Please Note: This water fountain is made to order and not mass produced. Please allow extra time for delivery. Also, our color chart is for example purposes only. Monitor settings and how the finish is applied to these outdoor water fountains can vary to what is shown in the color chart. Actual stone samples of each finish can be purchased to help you make your finish choice.
Winterize
It is very important for you to protect your cast stone and pottery fountains, birdbaths, planters and statuary from the freeze-thaw cycle during the winter months. Ideally, cast stone and pottery décor that can collect water, should not be left outside when temperatures dip down to freezing. They should be stored indoors or in a dry protected place such as a covered porch or garage that is away from the elements. This is not always possible, so it is recommended that you completely dry out your décor and add a waterproof cover. This is because any cast stone or pottery component that can hold water and freeze has the potential to crack and crumble. Components such as fountain pedestals which remain in a basin/pool can also crack or crumble.

Could the central rising portion of the fountain be taken off or out of bowl/base and incorporated into a different custom bowl/base, and can the pump be modified to increase the height of the water geyser up to about 14-16in’s?
You can order just individual parts for this fountain. The Vesuvio component could be ordered to go in an existing pond. We recommend that your existing pond is at least 52" diam. This fountain takes an 850 GPH pump. We don't offer a stronger pump option as increasing the water flow would cause water to spray out of the basin and it would not be able to cycle back up. If you wanted to increase the pump strength, you would need to provide a stronger pump on your end. Keep in mind, altering the designated design of a fountain does void any warranty offers.
