Winterize

It is very important for you to protect your cast stone and pottery fountains, birdbaths, planters and statuary from the freeze-thaw cycle during the winter months. Ideally, cast stone and pottery décor that can collect water, should not be left outside when temperatures dip down to freezing. They should be stored indoors or in a dry protected place such as a covered porch or garage that is away from the elements. This is not always possible, so it is recommended that you completely dry out your décor and add a waterproof cover. This is because any cast stone or pottery component that can hold water and freeze has the potential to crack and crumble. Components such as fountain pedestals which remain in a basin/pool can also crack or crumble.

Do u have to have a concrete pad to sit the fountain on or can it it directly on the grass if it is level ?

It is recommended that these be placed on either concrete or even pavers. The reason being that if the grass has even slightly unlevel, the weight of the fountain on an uneven surface could cause stress fractures to occur.

Beautiful 3-Tier Pond Fountain

I love this fountain! It is truly beautiful. The workmanship is excellent, the color perfect, and the sounds of the water falling like a bubbling brook. It was a delight to do business with Soothing Company. Sarah was superb, highly professional, responding immediately to all my questions and concerns, and arranging an efficient on time delivery. When the pump, which came with the fountain, did not function properly, without delay, they surprised me with a new one right away! Totally unexpected. It was truly worth the work it took us to install this large and heavy stone magical fountain. I am enclosing photos. My cat loves it, too, as do the birds and frogs in my garden.
