Winterize
It is very important for you to protect your cast stone and pottery fountains, birdbaths, planters and statuary from the freeze-thaw cycle during the winter months. Ideally, cast stone and pottery décor that can collect water, should not be left outside when temperatures dip down to freezing. They should be stored indoors or in a dry protected place such as a covered porch or garage that is away from the elements. This is not always possible, so it is recommended that you completely dry out your décor and add a waterproof cover. This is because any cast stone or pottery component that can hold water and freeze has the potential to crack and crumble. Components such as fountain pedestals which remain in a basin/pool can also crack or crumble.

Hello, what is the solid concrete basin vs. easy pond?
The solid pond is one solid piece. It is large and very heavy and requires a forklift during delivery as it is too large for the liftgates the delivery trucks use.
The easy pond is a made up of a polyethylene tub and concrete coping pieces that go around the tub to make up the pond. It is light, more easily handled and does not require a forklift. See the photo example below:

What are the base requirements for setting this fountain on. Getting one delivered today and not sure this has been thought out correctly.
The base requirements vary depending on which basin was purchased with the fountain. The one-piece basin measures 66'' in diameter. The "easy pond", which consists of a tub and cast stone coping pieces, measures 84'' in diameter. We recommend making the base of the fountain several inches larger than the diameter of the fountain.
