Winterize

It is very important for you to protect your cast stone and pottery fountains, birdbaths, planters and statuary from the freeze-thaw cycle during the winter months. Ideally, cast stone and pottery décor that can collect water, should not be left outside when temperatures dip down to freezing. They should be stored indoors or in a dry protected place such as a covered porch or garage that is away from the elements. This is not always possible, so it is recommended that you completely dry out your décor and add a waterproof cover. This is because any cast stone or pottery component that can hold water and freeze has the potential to crack and crumble. Components such as fountain pedestals which remain in a basin/pool can also crack or crumble.

How smooth is the ball and how does the water flow over it In streams or over the entire ball?

The ball is very smooth and the water is meant to flow over the entire thing. You can view a video of the larger model of this fountain running here, to give you an idea of what it looks like.
Do you sell a cover for this product and if so, how much is it?

This manufacturer does not have fountain covers for this fountain. Any waterproof covering/tarp can be used to winterize and protect during winter months.
What is the finish in the image?

The finish shown in the pictures is Sierra.
How loud is the fountain? Can it be placed indoors?

The sound of the fountain is a soft bubbling/trickling noise. It would be fine indoors, however please note that these are not rated for indoor use. We have had customers in the past use them indoors without issues. Because it is a water feature, just make sure that your space is properly prepared and protected in case of any splash or leaks.
