Winterize

It is very important for you to protect your cast stone and pottery fountains, birdbaths, planters and statuary from the freeze-thaw cycle during the winter months. Ideally, cast stone and pottery décor that can collect water, should not be left outside when temperatures dip down to freezing. They should be stored indoors or in a dry protected place such as a covered porch or garage that is away from the elements. This is not always possible, so it is recommended that you completely dry out your décor and add a waterproof cover. This is because any cast stone or pottery component that can hold water and freeze has the potential to crack and crumble. Components such as fountain pedestals which remain in a basin/pool can also crack or crumble.

what is the dimension of the base? I know it says 34 inches but is that the where the water is or the actual botton?

The dimensions of the base(the bottom piece) are 27"W x 19"D
I have seen the shipping weight shown as 1200 lbs. Does the fountain weight 600 or 1200 pounds? Also, how many pieces does the body of the fountain ship in and what is the weight of the heaviest piece?

The Brentwood is 3 pieces total and it's weight is 900 lbs, the heaviest piece being the top at approximately 300 lbs.. After packaging and crating, the weight could be as much as 1100-1200lbs.
Can I add the auto fill system later or does it have to be purchased with the fountain?

Autofills can be purchased anytime. It is a little easier for installation purposes to do it all at the same time, but it is certainly possible to do it later.
What is the weight?

The weight is approximately 600 lbs.
