Description
Beautiful from every angle, the Austin Modern Water Fountain is the perfect centerpiece for your garden. This urn fountain features a wide bowl resting on top of a pedestal and a rectangular basin below.
To keep a constant water level in your fountain, you can add the auto refill system. It comes with a float valve, concrete base, custom stopper, clear tubing, and a pressure relief garden hose or spigot connection. The device is connected to a garden hose or spigot, and the water is turned on and off by the valve in the unit, keeping your fountain filled effortlessly.
NOTE: The finishes are designed to replicate the look of natural aging, but unlike a painted finish, the patinas do not prevent the natural aging process. Any cast stone item with a patina finish will weather naturally in an outdoor environment. Because each patina is hand applied in a multi-step process and the product is photographed in natural settings, actual colors may vary.
Winterize
It is very important for you to protect your cast stone and pottery fountains, birdbaths, planters and statuary from the freeze-thaw cycle during the winter months. Ideally, cast stone and pottery décor that can collect water, should not be left outside when temperatures dip down to freezing. They should be stored indoors or in a dry protected place such as a covered porch or garage that is away from the elements. This is not always possible, so it is recommended that you completely dry out your décor and add a waterproof cover. This is because any cast stone or pottery component that can hold water and freeze has the potential to crack and crumble. Components such as fountain pedestals which remain in a basin/pool can also crack or crumble.

What are the overall dimensions?
Hello,
The dimensions of the Austin Outdoor Water Fountain are:

Ordered one of these for a client does the base come in pieces so it is movable or is the base a solid one piece?
The base does come in pieces. It is a fiberglass tub with 8 copings that fit around the tub.

How does one clean the bottom basin? Is there a plug to drain?
There is a compression stopper that the pump cord goes out, but this isn't the best way to drain water.
Most customers will use a wet/dry shopvac and suck the water out or you can use the pump to remove the water out of the basin. This is what we recommend. -
How many parts is the fountain? The overall unit is so heavy, I am wondering if that weight can be broken down into several components.
This fountain comes in 5 pieces. The bottom basin is the heaviest at 239 lbs.

How long is the cord to plug it in? Does it come out from the back middle of the basin?
The cord is 16 ft. It comes out of the center of the bottom basin.

does some water stay in the top when the fountain is not running? Does the cleaner hurt birds?
The water will drain out of the top when not running. The cleaner is safe for birds.

The bowl is 29.5"W x 18.5"D x 10.25"H.

What are the 5 individual pieces? I’m assuming the bowl, column base, basin and pump; not sure of the 5th piece.
It is the bowl, column, base, basin and small piece that sits in front of the pump to hide it from view.

How many gallons of water does the Austen fountain hold
This fountain holds approximately 17 gallons of water.
