Winterize

It is very important for you to protect your cast stone and pottery fountains, birdbaths, planters and statuary from the freeze-thaw cycle during the winter months. Ideally, cast stone and pottery décor that can collect water, should not be left outside when temperatures dip down to freezing. They should be stored indoors or in a dry protected place such as a covered porch or garage that is away from the elements. This is not always possible, so it is recommended that you completely dry out your décor and add a waterproof cover. This is because any cast stone or pottery component that can hold water and freeze has the potential to crack and crumble. Components such as fountain pedestals which remain in a basin/pool can also crack or crumble.

Could I get the interior diameter of the basin as well as the width of the pillar that sits in it?

The inner diameter of the basin is 41". The pedestal width that sits in the basin is 10.5".
Hello, I am looking to purchase this Margarita fountain and would like to attach a grate over the basin to prevent people from reaching into it. Is there any way you could add either an extra small ledge on the inside ring of the basin that we could lay the grate onto and screw in, or possibly circular rings that we could hook onto along the top edge of the basin? Please let me know if there is any way to customize this in order to work with me in accomplishing this. Also, What is the depth of the basin itself? Thank you for your time!

Unfortunately, we are unable to add a ledge or circular rings to this basin. The basin comes out of a mold. The depth of the basin is 9.5" on the outside and 6.5" on the inside.
