It is very important for you to protect your cast stone and pottery fountains, birdbaths, planters and statuary from the freeze-thaw cycle during the winter months. Ideally, cast stone and pottery décor that can collect water, should not be left outside when temperatures dip down to freezing. They should be stored indoors or in a dry protected place such as a covered porch or garage that is away from the elements. This is not always possible, so it is recommended that you completely dry out your décor and add a waterproof cover. This is because any cast stone or pottery component that can hold water and freeze has the potential to crack and crumble. Components such as fountain pedestals which remain in a basin/pool can also crack or crumble.

Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • Can you tell me what sound this fountain produces? I\'m looking for a loud indoor water feature to block highway noise. If this one won\'t work, please recommend your loudest water feature. Thank you.

This fountain will make noise, but we would recommend some wider fountains.  The wider the fountain, the more noise it will make.  You can also adjust the noise level of the fountain by having less water in the basin (make sure your pump is covered with water though).

Email us at your budget and style and we will find some fountains that will match up.

    Thank you!

  • I\'m wondering how it gets connected to the power? I assume there\'s an electrical plug that has to get connected and can this be mounted over an electrical outlet and still have room to get plugged in? I don\'t want a cord sticking out.

For this feature, the electrical outlet would need to be recessed behind the unit.

  • I need to replace my pump how many galllns per hour is the pump?

This feature will take a pump that is about 317 GPH.
